Carbon Sink – University of Wyoming

This project really appeals.  Chris Drury’s sculpture has stirred things up splendidly with the Wyoming Mining Association, who are keen to point out who pays the salaries at the University.  More details here, including the quote from Jeffrey Lockwood that I suggest that those who doubt the relevance of art to contemporary society consider that Chris Drury might have done more to catalyze a serious conversation about energy, ecology, and climate change than any technical report or research paper produced by the university.
