Chasing Ice – a documentary on retreating glaciers

National Geographic photographer James Balog has produced a documentary based on time-lapse photography in 300 locations in three continents, all showing how glaciers are retreating.  Good stuff – it is close to impossible to visualise otherwise, and in most cases miles away.  The documentary has won loads of prizes, and goes on general release in the USA in November.  There is a Youtube trailer, probably not to everyone’s taste, at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIZTMVNBjc4
