David Buckland is a designer, artist and film-maker whose photo based works have been exhibited worldwide.  Five books of his photographs have been published, he has designed over 20 sets, as well as costumes, for a range of ballet companies, and filmed work has been broadcast on the BBC.  Since 2000 he has directed Cape Farewell, a major inspiration for TippingPoint, whose activities have included expeditions to Spitsbergen by artists and scientist, exhibitions in both the UK and abroad, publications, and major contributions to the education syllabus.
