Amber Hiscott
Amber works in the public realm using glass within architecture and freestanding sculpture. A background in improvised theatre informs her approach, which is site specific, innovative, cross-disciplinary and animated by light. ” Tunnel of Light” a recent installation, based on drawings and a soundscape made in Paviland Cave, involved up-cycling the rusty iron skeleton of a coalmine to clad it in toughened, stained, float glass. Presently researching and developing sculpture using photo-voltaic cells/green technology.
