Elisa Lopez-Capel

I am a research associate (RA) in soil sciences and energy biosciences. I split my time between the School of Civil Engineering and Geosciences (CEGS), working on carbon capture in urban soils; and the Newcastle Institute for Research on Sustainability (NIReS), carrying out energy related outreach activities (e.g. ‘Geothermal upon Tyne’ and ‘NE Schools understanding energy and sustainability’ funded by NE Beacon, Newcastle University and Newcastle Science City ).
