Fern Smith

Fern Smith - Lives in Swansea. Degree in Psychology, MA in Industrial Relations. Joint Founder and Artistic Director of international touring company Volcano Theatre Company. Fern has performed, directed and taught workshops for the company and as a freelancer for over 20 years. Received Diploma in Holistic Massage & Bodywork in 2004 and in 2009 qualified as a Craniosacral Therapist. In addition to her theatre work she runs a private therapeutic practice in Swansea. She qualified in 2010 as a ‘Relational Dynamics Coach’. Clore Leadership Fellow in 2009/10. Co-developed and is creative producer on ‘Emergence-Eginiad’ an arts and sustainability initiative for Wales. Emergence aspires to bring artists and the arts sector in Wales together, creating a platform to inspire, empower and inform artists to take a role in developing ‘creative practice for a sustainable future’.
