James Marriott

James Marriott, artist and activist, is part of Platform the arts/activist/education group that has made pioneering work on social and ecological justice for nearly three decades. Together with colleagues in Platform, James has created work ranging from the Delta micro-hydro project, to the operatic download And While London Burns, and from the public sculpture project Living Memorial to Ken Saro-Wiwa to the Arnolfini exhbition C-Words. James’ most recent book The Oil Road, co-authored with Mika Minio, will be published by Verso in May 2012.
