Jen Harrison

Jennifer works for the Newcastle Institute for Research on Sustainability (NIReS) as a Research Theme Administrator. Previously she was a Research Associate with the Centre for Land Use and Water Resources Research, covering sustainability assessment, understanding stakeholder dynamics and social impacts of bioenergy projects in rural parts of developing countries. Jen’s main research and professional interest is the link between disciplines, scientific and otherwise, and how communication and interaction can be most effectively used to achieve positive outcomes.
