Jennifer Atkinson

Jennifer Atkinson is Communications Officer at ClimateNE, the Climate Change Partnership for North East England. Her main role is to ensure that the work of ClimateNE is communicated to a wide range of audiences and stakeholders to assist the move toward a low carbon and climate resilient economy. After graduating from The University of Sunderland in 2000 with a first class honours degree in Communications Studies, she worked for a number of organisations in North East England in communications and digital public relations-related roles. Jennifer is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) and recently gained the CIPR Diploma in Public Relations in which she specialised in how PR practitioners are responding to the climate change challenge.
