Jonathan Young

Theatre-maker and artistic director of Shams. Over the past decade Jonathan has co-created and performed in 7 productions with Shams, and worked as a freelance artist with companies such as Inspector Sands and theatre O. He recently toured Reykjavik nationally and at the Roundhouse (shortlisted for a Total Theatre Award for Innovation 2010). Jonathan teaches courses in clowning, movement and physical theatre. He is currently writing and directing Shams’ new production Thin Ice, which explores climate change and willful blindness.
