Laura Harrington

Laura Harrington is an artist based in Newcastle upon Tyne. Projects typically engage with ecology and landscape and are open to cross-disciplinary collaboration and numerous contexts. Currently she is completing a film that explores the vast blanket bogs of the North Pennines and a work in collaboration with sound artist Kaffe Mathews that looks at the migratory journey of Atlantic salmon on the river Tyne. In 2010 Laura was artist in residence at Environment Agency North East.
