Liam Curtin
Born Liverpool 1951, Liam has worked as a teacher, potter, artist and curator. Since 1994 Liam has been involved in public art commissions these include a 50 foot tall sculpture known as The Blackpool High Tide Organ, which uses the swell of sea water at high tide to compress air in pipes which in turn sounds a series of musical chords serenading the high tide. The project connected civil and structural engineers, a composer, an astronomer and artists.
