Lise Autogena

Lise Autogena is an artist who works in the Department of Fine Art at Newcastle University. She co-founded CRIR - a research facility, providing residency and research support for international artists and researchers with a specific interest in the utopian living experiment, Christiania in Copenhagen. She has since 1990 collaborated with Joshua Portway on ambitious multimedia installations and data visualization projects, that have explored our relations to the networks, economies, geographies and technologies that surround us, and how our human experience is changed by incorporation into these systems.
