Orit Azaz

Orit is an artistic director and facilitator. Her experience combines directing large-scale performances and events; developing contexts for collaborations between artists and communities; and project, process and event design. Orit was creative director of ‘Portrait of a Nation’ as part of Liverpool’s year as European Capital of Culture, involving young people, artists and partners from 17 UK cities in a creative exploration of what it means to be British. Most recently Orit has been working with Nofit State Circus and communities across the UK and France to develop a new language of large scale open air circus theatre through ‘Parklife’ and ‘Barricade’.
