Persephone Pearl

Persephone founded Feral Theatre with co-directors Emily and Rachel in 2007. Before that, she worked as a drama teacher and circus aerialist, making inclusive interdisciplinary projects in many contexts. She studies the potential for ecological transformation through creative practice. In 2011 she trained as a celebrant. Now she spends her time parenting and making Feral Theatre. For two years she has been exploring the theme of ecological grief through Feral’s Funeral for Lost Species, which won a TippingPoint commission.
