Sandra Bell

Sandra Bell is an environmental anthropologist and Senior Lecturer, Department of Anthropology, Durham University. She was a founding Director of the Durham Energy Institute and works on a number of projects relating to smart grids and renewable energy. She also works on biodiversity conservation, particularly human animal relations. She supervises a team of doctoral students in environmental anthropology and has published in a number of academic journals. Sandra has carried out research on issues relating to the practice interdisciplinary research.
