A world heritage large scale production and a compelling journey into one of the most important and debated places on earth: the Amazon Rainforest. Inspired by the ancient cultures found today on the banks of the Amazon, this unprecedented international production creates a direct link between the UK with the best in cultural traditions from Colombia, Peru, Brazil, Venezuela, Bolivia and Ecuador.

Amazonas Spectacular combines the grand statement of the carnival float from Colombia’s Unesco World Heritage Carnival of Blacks and Whites with enliven Amazonian warriors dances, Latin American upbeat fiesta parade and live music.

Our professional cast brings together an interdisciplinary team of 31 top Latin American artists based in UK and Latin America to create 3 large pieces using the language of Contemporary dance, traditional Amazon’s warrior’s dances and upbeat parade choreography bringing to life four great stories from the Amazon’s epic legacy of myths and legends.
