This music video is fun but its purpose is to communicate an important message: climate change is real. Further, unlike the usual claptrap spouted by paid shills, conspiracy theorists and denialistas, this is a public relations message that was written by climate scientists and is about climate scientists:
Hungry Beast is a half-hour long television programme on ABC (Australia). This programme, launched in 2009, is the brainchild of the presenters, producers, reporters, researchers, shooter/directors, graphic designers, editors and writers drawn from across Australia. These people were identified by a nationwide search for young people (all under 30) new to mainstream television. The idea was to offer a fresh take on the world from a generation grown up in the digital age. Hungry Beast offers “equal opportunity humour” as it explores serious topics of the day. Hungry Beast has its own website, although sadly, much of the video content is only viewable in Australia.
