MELT is a durational installation in which a torso made out of water soluble plastic dissolves as ice drips onto it. This installation has been exhibited three times both in gallery and outdoor locations. The piece refers to the ice cap melt and the vulnerability of the human race.
It is part of a body of work created by the artist as a result of a research project researching the creative uses of biodegradable plastic coordinated by the University of East Anglia UK.
