at The Eden Project

In Summer 2011, composer Tim Sutton and a diverse group of musicians from Cornwall created an ambitious ensemble piece performed across the Eden site, a collective call for increased appreciation and care of our environment. Without using electro amplification the piece used the former clay pit’s natural acoustics. Working with local organisations, choirs and music groups, participants include singers from the Eden Choir, Blazing Heart Chorus and Imerys Male Voice Choir, and players from Bombrassa and the Cornwall Family Orchestra. ‘Unplugged’ was part of a programme of collaborative activity developed and presented by Cape Farewell and the Eden Project.
