Erica Whyman

Erica is Chief Executive of Northern Stage in Newcastle Upon Tyne. She is a theatre director with 17 years experience who has directed all over the UK. Northern Stage is the North East of England’s largest producing theatre, with three flexible stages and a diverse programme both of performances and opportunities to make and discover theatre. Newcastle Gateshead has seen major regeneration through culture in the last decade and Erica takes a leading role in collaborative working across the city’s ten principal cultural buildings.
